Gary's Photo box storage
This week we are looking at storage and Design Team Member Gary shares with us how our Photo Box is the perfect storage solution for his Commemorative Coin Collection.
"Needing storage for his commemorative coin collection Gary discovered the CoolKatzCraft MDF Photo Storage Boxes (6" x 4" and 7" x 5") were the purrfect size.
Rather than leaving them plain he decided to decorate them so they could be viewed side by side, either end on or side on.
Taking pieces of watercolour paper cut to fit the box sides and fronts, he used Michael Powell Arts stamps to begin each design.
To make sure the sides and ends would join together seamlessly he took time to draw in extra details, extending the designs along the way.
Finally Gary used watercolour paints to bring those designs to life as magical scenes inspired by Tuscany and Portmeirion.
Now they sit together on the bookcase, fulfilling his need to have storage that is both useful and beautiful."
