Products used:-
Medium memory box
1 inch hexagon die plate
Pro tape
Bookbinding glue
25mm black frame tape
50mm black frame tape
I stamped and coloured my image ( I used a Pink Ink stamp), then I cut a multitude of hexagons.
I glued the base together and left it overnight to dry.
I then covered all edges of base with black paint.
I used the 25mm black frame tape to cover the edges of the inside lid part.
The 50mm black frame tape was used to cover the outside lid edges.
I cut a piece thin black card to 101/8” x 101/8”and used this to stick the hexagons to the lid top.
Thin card was cut into panels for the 4 outside sides and then hexagons were again stuck down onto these pieces.
The inside of the base bottom/sides were just covered with patterned paper..
I then assembled with the patterned paper.
And here’s the finished project!
